Indications:

Colistin sulphate is a polymixin antibiotic that is highly effective against gram negative bacteria. It is poorly absorbed from the gastro intestinal tract after oral administration. Thus offering specific advantages in the treatment and control of gastro intestinal infections, colibacilosis and salmonellosis. It is characterized by its ability to penetrate the cell wall and no drug cross resistance with other anitibiotics. Acmecol-48 is indicated in the treatment of general bacterial infections caused by gram negative bacteria. used to treat gastro intestinal tract infections caused by E-coli, colibacilosis, salmonella, pasteurella and pseudomonas.

Dosage:

1 gm per 10 liters of drinking water for 5 to 7 days.
